What is a team?

A team is your shared workspace in Proyex. All projects, tasks, files, and settings belong to a team. Each team member has a role with specific permissions.

Create a new team

  1. Create a team: Click on your profile picture and select “Create New Team.”
  2. Name the team: Enter a meaningful name (e.g., your company or department name).
  3. Done: You’ll automatically be added as the team owner and can get started right away.

Edit team

To change the team name:

  1. Open the team settings via the sidebar (gear icon).
  2. Change the team name in the corresponding field.
  3. Click Save.

In the team settings, you’ll also find options for branding (logo, colors), the guest portal, and other customizations.

Delete Team

If you want to delete a team, please note:

  • Only the team owner or a team admin can delete a team.
  • After clicking "Delete Team," a 30-day grace period begins. During this time, you can undo the deletion at any time.
  • After the 30 days have expired, all team data will be permanently deleted—including all projects, tasks, files, and time entries.
  • Team members who do not belong to any other team with an active subscription will also be marked for deletion and notified via email.

Cancel deletion: As long as the 30-day period is still active, you can click “Cancel deletion” in the team settings—provided there is still an active subscription.
